The new GERMREPEL® bottle was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal with Jury Commendation in this year's International Exhibition of Inventions in March 2021. It is the largest event globally dedicated to innovative ideas and technologies. With over 600 entries from all over the world, the exhibition is internationally recognised for the contributions made by the inventors across 22 product categories. Only 14 Gold Medals with Jury Commendation have been awarded to the Hong Kong delegation this year.
With the GERMREPEL® bottle developed in collaboration with Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI) and supported by the Innovation and Technology Fund, Amazing Square has pioneered a breakthrough technology that elevates the standard of what's truly safe for bottle hygiene.
The GERMREPEL® bottle is an industry-first invention and has proven effective in repelling up to 99% of harmful bacteria, delivering a safe and clean drinking bottle around the clock.
Developed in Hong Kong with years of testing, trials, and specific formulation, it outperforms conventional antimicrobial solutions, which rely on germ-killing chemicals and biocides. Instead of killing germs, the GERMREPEL® bottle prevents the initial adhesion of harmful bacteria, eliminating their subsequent colonization to minimize the risk of food poisoning from bacterial infection.
